• Shift Schedule : Flexible 12-hour shifts (Day: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Night: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Coverage : Scheduled shifts with optional on-call duties
• Patient Load : 71 patients per day on average
• Work Environment : Acute care hospital with advanced trauma capabilities (Level 3)

• Work Schedule :
  • Up to 30 shifts per month
  • Both day and night shifts available
  • Holidays observed: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
• Team Support : Robust 30-hour advanced practice provider (APP) coverage per shift
• Patient Demographics : Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Board Certification : BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABPS accepted)
• Licensure : Iowa license required or IMLC participation
• Certifications :
  • Required : ACLS, ATLS, PALS (or APLS), MRT for adult and child abuse cases
  • DEA License : Required
• Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency medicine
• Charting and EMR : Familiarity with Cerner EMR system

• Credentialing Timeframe : Up to 90 days
