We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Anesthesiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Horizon City, TX. This position offers full-time hours with a flexible schedule in a level 2 trauma center. The role includes both outpatient and inpatient work, with a focus on CRNA supervision and some solo cases. • End Date : April 1, 2025 (with potential for extension)
• Full-Time Hours : Minimum of 2 continuous weeks per month
• Practice Setting : Outpatient and Inpatient
• Call Requirements : Negotiable

• Supervise CRNAs in both outpatient and inpatient settings, handling a variety of cases
• Perform some solo anesthesiology cases
• Provide proficiency in regional anesthesia
• No cardiac cases involved
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care

• Board Certification : Required (Board-eligible also considered)
• Fellowship : Preferred but not required
• License : Must hold an active Texas medical license
• Certifications :
  • ACLS : Required
  • BLS : Required
• Temporary Privileges : Available for quick onboarding

• Facility Type : Level 2 trauma center
• EMR System : Cerner
• Privileges : Required for hospital/surgery center
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 90 days
