Obstetric Anesthesiologist

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology seeks an Obstetric Anesthesiologist. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Duties include providing excellent patient care and actively involving in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed anesthesiology residency program, as well as an obstetric anesthesiology fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in anesthesiology.

WVU Anesthesiology has the largest anesthesia practice in the state, and is the only anesthesiology residency-training program. The department has more than 150 credentialed clinicians. Major divisions include cardiovascular, pediatric, neuro, ambulatory anesthesia, and pain medicine. The department and institution are growing, and plan to add clinicians during the next year.

Morgantown, West Virginia is located just over an hour south of Pittsburgh, PA and three hours from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD.
