We have an exciting locum tenens opportunity for an Anesthesiologist in Maryland , located near Greensboro. Key Details:

• Location : Near Greensboro, MD
• Start Date : February 1, 2025
• Duration : Ongoing, long-term availability
• Shift : Nocturnist position, night shifts only (7p-7a). Preference for 7 consecutive nights or Monday-Friday coverage.
• Call Details : In-house call with a 1:6 ratio. Expect about 10 patients seen per shift, with an average of 10 phone consults and 10 admissions per 24-hour period.
• Response Time : 5-minute call response required.

Facility & Practice Setting :

• Inpatient setting only (no outpatient).
• Trauma Level 3.
• 14 operating rooms.
• Providers will work alongside a team of CRNAs and two advanced practice providers (PAs/NPs).
• Resident and teaching supervision required.

Skills & Cases Required :

• General Anesthesia, including adult and pediatric cases.
• Regional Anesthesia, Spinal and Epidural techniques.
• Ventilation and acute volume/BP management.
• Central and arterial line placements, along with PA catheter placement.
• Management of complex cases in vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and trauma settings.

Certifications Required :

• MD license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).
• ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Credentialing Timeframe :

• 90 days estimated.

Support Provided :

• CRNA supervision is required.
• Full insurance coverage provided by the vendor.
• Assistance with travel logistics.
