• Starting Pay: $25/hour and above
• Shift Differentials for night, weekend, and additional shifts available

About the Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant Specialist, you will conduct medically prescribed physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to impact the lives of patients daily!

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as per the care plan provided by a physical therapist.
• Utilize appropriate techniques and skills tailored to patient needs.
• Keep accurate documentation of treatment interventions.
• Assist in coordinating activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support staff.
• Maintain safety and alertness in all tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Required:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Experience:

• No prior experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant standing and frequent walking.
• Frequent lifting of objects up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively through hearing and speech.
• Occasional driving and rare crawling may be required.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification required within 90 days of employment. Additional resuscitation certifications may be required based on department needs.

Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant is necessary, with state-specific requirements applicable.
