Missouri Baptist Medical Center has Safe Patient Handling Expert position available with BJC.  Our team is patient-centered with a focus on teaching/training new members and students. We value each team member's experiences, approaches, and ideas! Come join MOBAP's excellent therapy department!

• Must be a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, who will function in the capacity of Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Specialist (experience strongly preferred in safe patient handling)

• Preferred Qualifications:

  Experienced in Safe Patient Handling and Mobility

  Certified Safe Patient Handling Associate

• 0800-1630 (no weekends, no holidays)

The Rehab Administration department supports Missouri Baptist Medical Center's Therapy Services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.

Role Purpose

Provides clinical resources, support and ancillary assistance for the physical therapy staff. Additionally, coordinates and leads efforts on behalf of the Physical Therapist Assistants in terms of their scope of practice and operational function within the hospital.
