This position is a contract role as a 1099 independent contractor, designed to complement your current practice. It involves treating patients on-site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.

Overview

Concentra, one of the largest healthcare companies in the nation, seeks a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist for on-site work. The role involves managing medically complex patients, expediting return to work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers. The position may include performing EMGs and NCS for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, communicating with employers, and active case management. Your work will significantly impact patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Work half a day per week or biweekly.

This is an independent contractor role with compensation based on a revenue share model.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience with work-related injuries.
• State licensure requirements met.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the jurisdiction.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage while on-site.
