As a Phlebotomist , you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:00AM-5:00PM; additional hours and rotating Saturday's as needed

Work Location: 2158 Exchange ST #304 Astoria OR

PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

  Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

  n

• n

  Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

  n
n
• n

  Qualified to perform moderately complexity testing as defined by CLIA

  n
n
• n

  Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

  n
n
• n

  Process billing information and collect payments when required

  n
n
• n

  Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

  n
n
• n

  Maintain patient and specimen information logs

  n
n
• n

  Provide superior customer service to all patients

  n
n
• n

  Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

  n
n
• n

  Travel to additional sites when needed

  n
n

Job Requirements:

n
• n

  High School Diploma or equivalent

  n
n
• n

  Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred

  n
n
• n

  1 year of previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred

  n
n
• n

  Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

  n
n
• n

  Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

  n
n
• n

  Ability to work independently or in a team environment

  n
n
• n

  Comfortable working under minimal supervision

  n
n
• n

  Flexibility to work overtime as needed

  n
n
• n

  Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

  n
n
