Innova Solutions has immediate needs for Phlebotomists (of all levels) to support the Kansas City, MO area!
As a Phlebotomist, your responsibilities include:

• Collecting specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
• Administering oral solutions according to established training.
• Researching test/client information and confirming and verifying all written and electronic orders by utilizing lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools.
• Navigating a computer and accurately entering data.
• Obtaining identification and accurately entering billing information and collecting payments when required, following corporate policies.
• Processing specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required by test order.
• Performing all non-patient facing duties, including inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and utilizing email as appropriate.
• Reading, understanding, and complying with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assisting with the compilation and submission of statistics and data when required.
• Maintaining all appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner and based on frequency, such as maintenance logs and temperature logs.
• Completing online and in-person training courses timely.

Required Work Experience:

• Phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomist certification required.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $45,000 - $57,000/year
