Phlebotomist Float - Bergen County

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Bergen County. This role requires flexibility and a professional demeanor to handle high-volume blood draws across various locations. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in both butterfly and straight needle techniques, and the ability to work with all age groups from pediatric to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume blood draws with efficiency and accuracy.
• Utilize both butterfly and straight needle techniques proficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a good bedside manner.
• Adapt to working with a diverse range of clients, including high-profile individuals.
• Work with all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Be flexible with scheduling, as shifts may change weekly and could be altered day-of in emergency situations.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience with high-volume blood draws.
• Proficiency in handling hard stick situations.
• Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner.
• Experience with both butterfly and straight needle techniques.
• Phlebotomy certification.
• Ability to work with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bergen County, New Jersey.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
