Phlebotomist

Sunday-Wednesday / 9:00am -7:30pm

A local hospital is seeking to expand its phlebotomy team in their emergency department, working in close collaboration with the nursing team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy tasks efficiently.
• Conduct vital sign checks as required.
• Assist with patient mobility in certain situations.
• Ensure supply closets are well-stocked during downtime.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in phlebotomy with verified references.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience as a medical assistant.

Work Environment

The position is based in a hospital environment within one of the leading hospitals in West Knoxville, known for its specialization in elective procedures. The role is a long-term contract, working as a service partner to the hospital administration. Enjoy benefits including 40 hours of PTO in the first 9 months and 60 hours of PTO offered every 6 months.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
