FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Day and Evening Rotation
Pay: $17.19 - $25.79 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary:
Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance, and support for pharmacists and patients while working towards pharmacy technician certification.
Responsibilities:

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems and/or processes incoming prescriptions. Repackages bulk medications. May be responsible for sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Fills medication carts on a daily basis and/or processes and fills prescription orders.
• Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department and/or assists with shelving and stocking of medications.
• Audits medication inventory.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician Provisional (PHATP) certification from State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must obtain Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT) within 18 months of obtaining provisional certification or per DORA expiration.
