Shift: Weekend Days

Pay: $19.67 - $25.57 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
As a Pharmacy Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to perform core pharmacy duties under the mentorship of a licensed pharmacist. This hands-on experience is essential for developing your skills in medication management and patient care.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy at a bachelor’s level and in good standing.
• Obtain and maintain State Pharmacy Intern licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess medication orders to identify potential and actual drug-related problems.
• Compound medications for retail sales and/or distribute to patient care areas.
• Provide drug information and education to patients.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and decisive judgement while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
