Pharmacy Manager

Manage the daily operations of pharmacy services.

• Develop and implement performance improvement activities to include medication safety, medication use evaluation and pharmacoeconomics.
• Conduct competency assessments and coordinates the training and development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.
• Develop and manage departmental budget to promote pharmacoeconomics.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Also serves on various committees.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Work Experience:

• 3 years of experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.

Active WI Pharmacy License

Prior acute care pharmacy manager experience preferred

PGY2 in pharmacy administration preferred

At least 2 years of prior acute care pharmacy experience required or 1 year of acute care pharmacy leadership experience
