Pharmacy Intern Position

Job Description:

Become part of a dynamic pharmacy team where you'll learn to deliver exceptional patient experiences while supporting the pharmacist and pharmacy team members in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Experience: Greet and assist customers effectively, resolving their queries to ensure a delightful shopping experience.
• Operational Support: Work under the supervision of a pharmacist to assist in various pharmacy operations, including processing prescriptions and providing patient counseling.
• Pharmacy Practices: Familiarize yourself with pharmacy policies, procedures, and best practices while engaging in training and development opportunities.
• Inventory Management: Participate in inventory activities such as ordering and managing pharmaceutical supplies.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, contributing to a respectful workplace.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited school of Pharmacy program.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a retail environment (6 months preferred).
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is a plus.
• Good mathematical skills for accurate prescription filling.

The current salary range for this position is $16.50 per hour - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and other relevant factors.
