Pharmacist

The clinical pharmacist specialist is responsible for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy. This role involves providing patient-centered care and integrated pharmacy services in a decentralized practice setting alongside physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel. The specialist will participate in all necessary aspects of the medication-use system while delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in assigned areas. Additionally, support for centralized and decentralized medication-use systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective medication therapy.
• Deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with a healthcare team.
• Engage in all aspects of the medication-use system.
• Offer comprehensive pharmaceutical care to assigned patients.
• Support both centralized and decentralized medication-use systems.

Essential Skills

• Pharmacy degree or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
• Meeting other applicable state requirements, such as sterile compounding.
• BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire).
• ALS/ACLS certification (required for attending Code Blue).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Experience in customer service and prior authorization processes.

Work Environment

This position requires working night shifts on a 7 on 7 off schedule from 8pm to 7am.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr. You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000! You may also be eligible for relocation assistance.

This is a fully onsite position in Tulsa, OK.
