Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.

Direct pharmacy workers in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.

Provide customers with information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.

Maintain quality assurance and security of controlled substances.

Handle the disposal of hazardous waste drugs.

Enter data to maintain pharmacy files and inventory.

Assay medications to verify identity, purity, and strength.

Instruct interns and other medical personnel on pharmacy-related matters.

Must be licensed in Illinois.

Retail Pharmacy experience (e.g., CVS, Walgreens, Target) preferred.

Ability to multitask.

Excellent communication skills.

Self-motivated.

The work environment includes any 8-hour shift between 7 am to 7:30 pm, rotating every two weeks. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts. There is an 8-4:30 training schedule, and the schedule rotates weekly. Overtime is not required but may be offered based on business needs.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Libertyville, IL.
