Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

As a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the attorneys by handling a variety of tasks related to personal injury cases. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in personal injury law, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a temporary and full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all phases of personal injury litigation, including pre-litigation, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial matters.
• Draft, prepare, and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, subpoenas, and discovery responses.
• Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate and assist with the discovery process, including gathering and organizing evidence, conducting document reviews, and drafting discovery requests.
• Prepare and summarize medical records, police reports, and other case-related documents.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trial.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and experts to obtain case-related information.
• Prepare exhibits and trial binders for hearings and trials.
• Handle administrative tasks such as calendaring deadlines, scheduling appointments, and filing documents.

Qualifications:

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal.
• Strong understanding of personal injury litigation processes and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in case management software, Microsoft Office, and legal research tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
