Registered Nurse (RN) - Infection Prevention
If you are passionate about preventing healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), join us as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Infection Prevention. In this role, you will develop and implement infection control policies while educating healthcare staff on best practices to ensure patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and analyze data to identify trends and risks.
- Educate healthcare staff on infection prevention protocols, including hand hygiene and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Investigate outbreaks of infections and recommend containment measures to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a culture of safety and infection prevention across the facility.
- Provide guidance on isolation precautions for infectious patients and ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
Work Environment:
- The role is based in hospitals or healthcare facilities where RNs oversee infection prevention programs across multiple departments.
- This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to educate staff effectively on infection control practices.
