Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist

Join us as a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist at LCMC Health

We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography in accordance with AIUM guidelines, under direct supervision. Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, performing OB-GYN scans, assisting with procedures like amniocentesis, and maintaining equipment and documentation.

Benefits include a sign-on bonus of $7,500.

Your Daily Responsibilities

• Perform transabdominal and transvaginal scans, including fetal anatomy, Doppler studies, biophysical profiles, and cervical assessments.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Review physician orders and ensure accurate documentation and image transfer.
• Follow safety protocols, prepare patients, and explain procedures to ease anxiety.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, ensure sterile techniques, and manage supplies.

Qualifications

• Experience in MFM sonography, preferably in outpatient settings.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Sonography.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Sonography Certification from recognized bodies.

Skills and Abilities

• Physical dexterity and knowledge of fetal anatomy.
• Effective communication and ability to work under pressure.
• Teamwork and critical thinking skills.
