Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm - 40 hours a week

The community you'll be caring for: When you need care, you don't want to have to travel far. Our dedicated, expert team at AdventHealth South Overland Park, formerly Shawnee Mission Health Overland Park, provides excellent care to communities of southeastern Johnson County, with 24/7 emergency room services, an advanced imaging center, physical therapy, and more.

The role you'll contribute: The Perinatal Sonographer performs a variety of diagnostic medical sonography procedures providing high-quality exams for interpretation by a Radiologist. Sets up and assists in invasive procedures when ultrasound is used as a guidance tool. Performs all tasks necessary to provide quality patient care.

• Perform ultrasound exams during all stages of pregnancy.
• Provide comprehensive care and coordinate with other disciplines and ancillary departments as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of current testing requirements and guidelines.
• Provide patient education regarding prenatal testing and procedures.
• Inform patients of anticipated wait times for test results.

Qualifications:

• 1 Year of Position-Related Experience
• ARDMS-OB
• Nuchal translucency required within 6 months of date of hire
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
