Barton is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. • Schedule : Monday-Friday 7am-8pm, weekends 8am-9pm; 8-14 shifts per 4-week block; must be available for days, nights, and weekends

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide medical care for pediatric patients in the cardiac intensive care unit (CICU)
• Manage post-operative cardiothoracic cases
• Perform procedures including arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture, and needle thoracentesis
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document care and procedures using Epic EMR

Additional Information

• One year of pediatric cardiology experience required; post-operative cardiothoracic experience preferred
• Experience with advanced critical care procedures desired
• Required board certifications: Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)
• Must hold a valid Texas license
