What You'll Do:

As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll support children with a variety of needs including medically complex, developmental, and communication challenges helping them improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills to enhance their independence and quality of life.

• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans to improve communication, swallowing, cognitive-communication, and social skills in pediatric patients
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and maintain detailed, skilled documentation including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support communication development and carryover of therapy strategies at home and in natural settings
• Monitor therapy progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes
• Assess the child's natural environmentssuch as home, school, or daycareand recommend strategies or modifications to enhance communication and participation
• Recommend and train families on the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices or other assistive technology as appropriate
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address the child's holistic needs
• Manage a pediatric caseload, maintain open communication with families, and coordinate scheduling of therapy sessions
• Complete accurate billing and documentation aligned with services provided

What You Bring:

Credentials from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program are required

Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility) required

Pediatric experience preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply

A passion for working with children and their families is a must
