Pediatric Radiologist

A respected children's hospital in Michigan is seeking a Pediatric Radiologist (MD) for locum tenens coverage. This role offers a combination of on-site coverage and call in a leading pediatric care setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: 1 week per month (ideally Mon-Sun, open to Thurs-Sun)
• Schedule:
• Mon-Fri: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM onsite + 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM call
• Sat/Sun: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM onsite + 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM call
• Hours: Mix of evening shifts and overnight call coverage
• Holiday Coverage: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
• Travel & lodging: Provided

Responsibilities:

• Reading pediatric X-Rays, Ultrasound, and Stat CT/MRI cases
• Performing Fluoroscopic procedures as required
• Providing call coverage with 30-minute response times
• Collaborating with pediatric and hospital care teams
• Ensuring accurate, timely, and safe diagnostic interpretations

Qualifications:

• Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Radiology
• CAQ certified or eligible in Pediatric Radiology
• Active Michigan medical license or IMLC eligible
• Board Certified MD
• Clean malpractice history
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts

Desired Skills:

• 2+ years of pediatric radiology experience preferred
• Familiarity with Sectra PACS (starting January 2026)
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
