Responsibilities

Provides behavioral health counseling services to provide personalized treatment plans for pediatric patients.

Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals

Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.

Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.

Provides patients with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.

Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

Provides patient and family education on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and ways to support their child's development.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Licensed Psychologist-Prefer experienced in Pediatrics

Requirements

Psychologist credentialed from the Indiana Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Psychotherapist preferred.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) required.
