Coverage Needed: 2-3 weeks per month
Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Call: Included (no 24-hour call details specified)

Practice Environment:

Patient Volume:
12-15 outpatient visits/day
5 inpatients
Procedures on blocked half-days

Support Staff:
1 RN (primary)
1 CMA (occasionally)
2 Nutritionists
Pediatric Care Navigation Program
Psychologist
EMR: Epic
Department Size (2026):
1 Full-time Peds GI
1 Full-time Pediatrician
1 Part-time Peds GI (for inpatient & call coverage) Procedures & Equipment:
- Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy
- Skills Required: Must be able to perform scopes
- Equipment: Scopes provided
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Pediatric Gastroenterology - Required
- Licensure: TN License or IMLC - Required
- DEA: Required - Must have TN and/or VA DEA
- Certifications:
- BLS, PALS - Highly Preferred (not required)
