UNC Health is currently seeking a Board Eligible/Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist for a clinical faculty position to practice in our multi-specialty academic practice in Wilmington, NC. This team is part of an innovative partnership between UNC Health, UNC School of Medicine and Novant Health to provide specialty care to children from communities throughout southeastern and coastal NC. The faculty member will also be expected to develop and perform clinical activities in surrounding outreach locations in Southeastern NC.

As a top-tier academic medical center, UNC Children’s upholds a four-tiered mission to “CARE,” aligning clinical care, advocacy, research, and education to deliver world-class family-centered care. Expertise in management of high prevalence endocrinology conditions of children but also willingness and interest in managing rare and complex conditions with the support of the UNC Children’s Hospital in Chapel Hill is expected.

This is a full-time clinical faculty position, with focus on outpatient care but also to include some inpatient consultation services. The candidate must be board certified / eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology. Salary will be based on experience and aligned to community-based specialist rates. Incentive compensation will support highly productive providers and meeting other targets aligned with broad system goals.

Wilmington, NC, is a charming, coastal city of ~125,000 people located in the southeastern corner of North Carolina between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean.
