Payroll & HR Generalist

Our client, a well-established manufacturer with multiple divisions, is seeking a Payroll & HR Generalist to manage payroll operations and support HR functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working closely with employees across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll and manage time clock data
• Maintain accurate records for PTO, vacation, and sick time
• Handle 401(k) contributions, loans, and census reporting
• Administer new hire onboarding, orientation, and safety training
• Support open enrollment and benefits administration
• Maintain HR files, I-9s, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate temporary staffing and track attendance
• Assist with workers' compensation reporting and safety initiatives
• Order office supplies and support general HR operations

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or 46 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Paycor HRIS/Payroll preferred
• SHRM certification is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in both office and factory settings

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.86/hr.
