Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

• Deliver exceptional customer service with a strong focus on patient satisfaction.
• Be present and engaged during your scheduled shifts.
• Follow directions from the dentist and hygienists, assisting them during procedures.
• Take and develop accurate, high-quality radiographs.
• Review patient records and document relevant health information and treatment notes.
• Clean and prepare operatory areas and equipment according to organizational standards.
• Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow and scheduling.
• Educate patients and respond to their questions and concerns with care.
• Foster teamwork to ensure each patient receives an extraordinary experience.
• Collaborate with dental professionals and support staff to uphold exceptional patient service.
• Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and managing lab cases.
• Monitor dental supplies and place orders as necessary.
• Promote dental services and retail products effectively.
• Engage in daily huddles and complete assigned checklists.
• Ensure patient confidentiality is strictly maintained in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Follow safety protocols as per OSHA regulations and BBP compliance.
• Complete all required training through the Learning Management System.

Qualifications
Education/Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Posess current radiography certification.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state or the ability to obtain one.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia is preferred.
• Must complete annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training.

Skills and Abilities:

• Previous experience in a patient-focused dental setting is preferred.
• Exemplary customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Professionalism in communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution capabilities.
• Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Computer proficiency and adaptability to new software programs.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Potential travel for training and job functions.
