Work hours: Full Time Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) for 36 hours/week. Weekend and holiday requirements

Emergency Department Highlights:

• n 110 bed emergency department averaging 10,000 patients per month.nn
n
• n Level 1 Trauma Center, Certified Stroke Center, AHA Heart Failure Center.nn
n
• n Gain experience taking care of high acuity emergency patients, support through further education with tuition reimbursement, and flexible scheduling.nn
n

Here's What You Need

• n H.S. Diploma or Equivalent _Required_ .nn
n
• n Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency _Required_ .nn
n
• n PCT Training Program TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, accredited community college program or a THR approved program. Not required to maintain certification when applicable after hire. Upon Hire _Required_ Ornn

• n EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Military experience with medical training equivalent (Equivalent to EMT-B) Upon Hire _Required_ Ornn
n
• n Other Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program Upon Hire _Required_ Ornn

• n Other 1 year of applicable experience in lieu of an active and approved certification. Upon Hire _Required_ Andnn

• n BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly _Required_ Andnn

• n CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days _Required_ .nn

• n Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.nn
n
• n Nursing Students who do not complete course of study in nursing but having completed their Fundamentals Training and EMTs who do not formally retain their EMT status may continue in role if they have consistently demonstrated skills in their PCT position.nn
n

• n Provides patient care and assistance based on the plan of care and patient/family preferences.nn

• n Collects and reports patient data, supports admission, transfer, and discharge processes.nn
n
• n Performs technical procedures safely and documents care accurately.nn
n
• n Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs.nn
n
• n Maintains a clean, safe environment and proactively meets patient and visitor needs.nn
n
• n Demonstrates teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines.nn
n
• n Participates in process improvement, adheres to safety goals, and advocates for patients.nn
n
