Periop Staff Nurse

Periop Staff Nurse position available at Ascension St. Elizabeth in Appleton, WI. Full-time 0.9 FTE days with varied start times between 4:00am and 8:00am, 8 hour shifts, no weekends, no holidays, and no call.

Responsibilities include: performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision, aiding with patient entry and exit, assisting with patient care and activities of daily living, reporting findings to nursing staff, documenting records, and maintaining patient rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements include: BLS Provider certification, Nurse Aide credentialing, and a high school diploma equivalency or applicable experience. Additional certifications may be required by specific job locations.

Preferred experience includes preop/post care of periop patients and 6 months of periop or acute care experience.
