Summary

Job Description:

Part time/ 24 hours weekly/ 12-hour shifts/ second shift

Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated, assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team/and or unit.

Essential Duties:

Personal hygiene
Routine vital signs
Routine care
Documentation of patient care in EMR based on scope of practice Responsibility:
Phlebotomy and various other lab collections
Placement of appropriate monitoring equipment *
Performs 12 Lead ECG

Requirements:

High School /GED
BLS within 3 months
Successful completion of an Approved Aide Training Program is preferred.
Previous phlebotomy/point of care testing is preferred.
One year job related experience in a healthcare setting providing patient care preferred
