Work hours: Full Time, Day Shift (7a to 7p), 3 shifts, 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday requirements. Great growth opportunity and complete benefits available.

What You Will Do

Provides assistance to patient according to plan of care.

n
• n

  Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.

  n

• n

  Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.

  n

• n

  Provides and Revises patient activities of daily living based on patient/family preferences.

  n
n
• n

  Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.

  n
n
• n

  Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.

  n

• n

  Enters orders into computer or manual system if applicable.

  n

• n

  Documents accurately and appropriately.

  n
n
• n

  In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, adapts care to reflect patient population.

• n

  In collaboration/consultation with nurse, incorporates cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care.

• n

  Keeps patient environment clean and maintains safe environment.

• n

  Anticipates patient/family and visitor needs and takes action to meet those needs and rounds as appropriate

Here's What You Need

n
• n High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)nn
n
• n CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required, if applicable.nn
n
• n Current TX CNA or PCT training with NHA, NAHP or NCCT or an accredited community college program or a THR approved program ornn
n
• n Current EMT for TX ornn
n
• n Military experience with medical training equivalent (Equivalent to EMT-B) ornn
n
• n 1 year of applicable PCT experience in lieu of an active and approved certification ornn
n
• n Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program.nn
n
• n Previous hospital experience is preferred.nn
n
• n BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterlynn
n
• n CPI - Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training within 60 days of hire required.nn
n
