JOB SUMMARY

The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is a member of the patient care services team with primary responsibilities for technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The PCT is assigned to work under the supervision of the licensed nurse who delegates tasks based on patient needs, PCT skill level , and abilities. The PCT provides care for the adolescent, adult or geriatric patient.

REQUIREMENTS

Preferred High School Diploma Completion of High School or GED required.

Less than 2 years Successful completion of Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant course required. Previous Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant experience preferred. Required

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 18 years of age required.
