Job Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to residents in our long-term care facility. Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of registered nurses.
• Ensuring age-appropriate care based on the physical and psychological needs of residents.
• Supporting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Assisting with nutritional needs and creating a positive dining experience.
• Monitoring and documenting vital signs and changes in residents' conditions.
• Participating in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging residents to engage.
• Maintaining cleanliness in residents’ living areas and assisting with housekeeping tasks.

This is an evening weekend position that allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is advantageous.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) required or enrolment in a CNA training program within four months of hiring.
• Annual continuing education of at least 12 hours is required.
• For applicable states, registration with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be necessary.
• Must have a valid driver's license if classified as a Sanford Category II Driver.
