The Part-Time Shuttle Van Driver ensures safe and reliable transportation for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. This role involves driving guests to and from hospitals and medical facilities, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, and providing a welcoming and supportive experience for families. The ideal candidate is a responsible, compassionate, and safety-minded driver with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vans to transport families to hospitals and other designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules reliably and on time.
• Provide courteous and compassionate assistance to passengers entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Ensure vehicle is clean, fueled, and maintained according to safety and operational standards.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Uphold the mission and values of RMHC Philly by creating a warm and supportive atmosphere for families.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required; CDL preferred (with corresponding pay rate).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Previous professional driving or shuttle/transport experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist passengers as needed.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong attention to safety.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $20/hour (Non-CDL) | $21/hour (CDL) Static pay rate.
• Part-time position; schedule includes weekdays, with some evenings and weekends required.
• Training provided upon hire.
