Your Role as a Security Operations Center Specialist:

You will be part of a highly trained security team, playing a critical role in supporting vital facilities and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include monitoring security systems, managing access control points, and supporting first responders during incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV system feeds.
• Oversee access control points.
• Investigate alarms related to access controls and building management systems.
• Assist first responders in the command center and during events.
• Provide security incident information and adhere to post orders.
• Develop and disseminate reports as directed.
• Report hazards, accidents, and unusual incidents.
• Maintain radio communication and support PAPD reporting.
• Log activities noting unusual incidents.
• Respond to emergencies, including fires and threats.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

• Experience in security operations is essential.
• Previous experience in a command or operations center is preferred.
• Strong understanding of security and building management systems.
• Proficient in using CCTV video management systems.
• Experience with access control systems is a must.
• Ability to communicate information clearly.
• Must be capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
• Familiarity with computers and specialized security software.
• Pass the National Dispatcher Selection Test (NDST).
