JOB DESCRIPTION—Saturday availability is required
n- n
- Perform quality therapeutic bodywork that meets clients' needs including Enhancements: which will include essential oils, Prossage Oil, Biofreeze, massage lotion, sugar scrub, Hypervolt percussion instrument. n
- Be able to perform back-to-back massages (based on the information you provided upon hire). n
- Active listening, evaluating client satisfaction n
- Recommend follow up visit frequency. n
- Customizing massage services within Massage Envy's policies, protocols, and approved modalities to craft truly personalized sessions, while taking into consideration any contraindications they may have. n
- Help clients understand the benefits of regular massage n
- Be able to effectively and concisely convey treatment findings and a return date. n
WHAT ELSE THE JOB ENTAILS:

- Body Positioning for shift: mostly standing/bending and other body positions associated with massaging and modalities for the duration of your shift with some seated services. n
- General cleaning and disinfecting of treatment room, including trash removal. Changing table linens for each client. n
- Safeguarding the client experience, maintaining client confidentiality, and upholding our commitment to safety. n
BASIC SKILLS NEEDED
n- n
- 18 years of age or older. n
- Knowledge and structure of English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar n
- Reading Comprehension, Writing n
- Speaking (being able to convey information effectively). n
- Service Orientation: actively looking for ways to help people n
- Social Perceptiveness: being aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do. n
- Knowledge of basic computer skills. n
- Time Management, communication n
