Part-Time Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist

Sundance Behavioral Resources, part of the Optum family of businesses, is excited to invite a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist to our team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support a diverse patient population by addressing a wide variety of mental health conditions. You will provide meaningful treatments, including both individual and couples therapy, with the flexibility to work remotely or in our Provo, UT office.

Responsibilities include:

• Building strong provider-patient relationships and coordinating care with external providers.
• Conducting screenings and assessments for common mental health disorders.
• Delivering treatment using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and EMDR.
• Tracking treatment responses and monitoring patients for any changes in their clinical symptoms.
• Keeping accurate and current electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC) in the state of Utah.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 2+ years of clinical experience post-master's degree.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and couples.
• Familiarity with medical documentation software and communication tools, including Excel and Outlook.
• A proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
