Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment with safety and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to uphold a sanitary environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and engage positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• Complete all other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management to successfully carry out daily responsibilities.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull similar weights, as well as stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to work with cleaning products.
• Ability to follow both oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
• Residency within the service area is required.
