Shifts are from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role as a caregiver, providing compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in our long-term care facility. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care tailored to the physical and emotional needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Take and document vital signs, and provide essential personal care.
• Support residents in transferring, walking, and exercising safely.
• Prepare meals and create a positive dining experience.
• Communicate changes in resident conditions to the charge nurse.
• Engage residents in wellness and recreational programs.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior experience in long-term care is advantageous.
• Must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or be enrolled in a training program to obtain one within four months of hire.
• Complete annual education requirements and competency testing.
• Valid driver’s license may be needed depending on responsibilities.
