Part-Time CDL A Truck Driver

Position Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable company that values your expertise and provides excellent benefits.

• Earn $1500 or more per week
• Weekly payments for all driver positions
• Competitive mileage pay: $0.66 per mile with an average of 1800 - 2300 miles per week
• Stop pay: $27.56 per stop, typically with 5 - 7 stops per week
• Drop and hook pay: $16.54 per drop/hook
• Quarterly safety bonuses up to $300

• Schedule primarily Monday - Friday, with variable start times

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Pass a drug test
• Meet background and motor vehicle check standards
• Pass a DOT physical
• Successfully complete a Ryder road test
• Hold an appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Minimum driving experience requirements:

1. 9 months within the past 3 years, or
2. 2 years within the last 5 years, or
3. 5 years within the last 10 years

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Identify and minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Assist with loading/unloading freight as required
• Perform other assigned duties
