Job Description:

Summary

As a Parcel Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by tracking and resolving issues that arise from the checkout process through to outbound shipping and invoicing. You will possess a strong analytical mindset to identify core issues within systems and operations, articulate solutions, and work towards their implementation to ensure seamless parcel delivery processes.

Essential Functions

• Provide support for e-commerce customers and fulfillment operations, managing escalations effectively.
• Resolve operational, IT, and other parcel-related issues proactively.
• Collaborate with carrier partners to troubleshoot and rectify delivery challenges.
• Spot opportunities to enhance the customer experience related to small parcel deliveries.
• Conduct monthly analyses of small parcel performance across the PLG network and Partner network.
• Assist Enterprise Account Managers with customer inquiries, QBRs, KPIs, and strategic sessions.

Additional Responsibilities

• Complete other assigned duties as needed.

Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and relentless dedication to problem-solving.
• Possess direct e-commerce experience, beyond just being a customer.
• Exhibit strong analytical, technical, and detail-oriented skills.
• Have experience with small parcel carriers, including UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or Industrial Engineering is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in small parcel and e-commerce, or 8 years in a relevant industry with a high school diploma.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer tools, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.
• Basic knowledge in Integrated Logistics, including Transportation Distribution and Customer Service.
• Ability to acquire in-depth product knowledge and adhere to process methodologies.

Compensation Information:

The compensation for this role is competitive and may vary based on factors such as relevant experience and education. The salary range for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000.
