Painter Helper

We are seeking a dedicated Painter Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing materials for the painting process and ensuring high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and stripping to ensure proper paint adherence.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other protective or decorative coatings using specialized spray equipment.
• Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment such as airless sprayers, sandblasters, and automatic coating machines.
• Ensure high-quality finishes and complete projects on time.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment like respirators and safety glasses.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in production and industrial painting techniques.
• Experience with paint preparation, sanding, and the use of spray guns.
• Knowledge of industrial paint and prep work, including masking.

Work Environment

The role is based in a typical manufacturing garage shop, which is large and spacious, allowing for efficient task completion. You will work alongside approximately 10 other workers, and should be comfortable with noise from power tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Corona, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
