Robotics Technician (PAINT)

This is a 2nd shift Automation Technician position working from 2:30 PM to 10:50 PM. The role involves working on the Flag Ship line, specifically focusing on editing and programming ABB Robots. The work environment includes a programming room equipped with one laptop and six ABB robots. The task involves spraying parts for automotive companies such as Honda, Ford, GM, Acura, and Chrysler.

• Edit existing programs on ABB Robots.
• Collaborate with the main Automation Tech for program modifications.
• Use ABB software to manipulate quadratic functions.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks including greasing bearings and cleaning robots weekly.
• Follow production scheduling requirements.
• 5 years of experience editing existing programs on ABB Robots.
• 5 years of experience with ABB software.
• 3 years of experience following production scheduling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• ABB Training.
• Ability to program ABB robots from scratch.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70720.00/yr. Full Company Benefits Effective Day 1 proceeding start Month. If employees start in January, eligible for benefits Feb 1. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Vacation, Holiday
