Position Summary

The packaging team is responsible for all aspects of primary packaging, secondary packaging, and devices including labeling and artwork. The team supports developmental and commercialized products. They are accountable for tech transfers and commercial support for the BMS portfolio of products. This work includes all internal and external packaging operations.

The full-time co-op will take place January - June 2026.

Qualifications/Experience:

Candidates must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university with at least two years or 48 academic credits, seeking an undergraduate degree in Packaging, Mechanical or related engineering degree and continuing their education for the following semester (e.g. Summer 2026).

Must possess an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher please include overall GPA on your resume.

Preferred to have basic knowledge of packaging components/materials, equipment, and processes.

Good problem-solving skills.

Data compilation, technical writing skills, and presentation skills.

Preferred computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab (or similar statistical software).

Must be eligible to work full-time, 40 hours per week, from January June 2026.

This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program. Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.

The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is within the range of $23.00 to $42.00/hr. Please note that the final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will be determined by your employer of record (and not BMS). Factors influencing this decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of the job. Compensation details are subject to change.

On-site protocol. BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based, and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles, the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients, or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
