Packager/Operator

Packager/Operator - $19/hr - Start Asap

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of 2-5 individuals to efficiently package finished materials as they emerge from roll forming machines. These machines primarily produce metal shingles, siding, and gutters. You will work under the guidance of a machine operator ii and alongside other packagers (machine operator i) to ensure each product is visually quality checked for manufacturing defects.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus and attention to detail.
• Comfortably handle tasks such as making boxes, packaging, palletizing, and moving products.
• Utilize power tools including drills, staple guns, and other pneumatic tools.
• Learn to operate several machines and adapt to working with different teams daily.
• Perform quality checks by measuring parts accurately.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment for at least 6 months.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others and perform general labor tasks.
• Experience in machine operation and quality checking.
• Competence in using hand and power tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
