CARE Counseling, part of the Optum family of businesses is seeking a Licensed Outpatient Therapist to join our team in Mankato, MN.
Therapists can choose to work onsite or a hybrid arrangement that includes 2 days/week in the office. There is additional flexibility in the number of billable hours/total hours worked per week.
Primary Responsibilities:

Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
Provide treatment for mental health conditions using various approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral Degree in Behavioral Science/related field (Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family therapy, Social Work, Education, etc.)
Active, independent clinical license as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW, LMFT)
