Indiana University Health, the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking an additional Neurologist to join our successful and productive team in the beautiful town of Bloomington, Indiana . Treat patients with a variety of diagnoses e.g. migraines, seizures, stroke follow-up care, Parkinson's, MS, Alzheimer's/Dementia, Myasthenia Gravis, tremors, and neuropathy. Subspecialty opportunities for movement disorders, EMG, EEG interpretation, and VNS interrogation.

Position Highlights:

• Join a well-established team of Neurologists to provide comprehensive care of adult Neurology patients
• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Call; rotating to cover time off for neuro-hospitalists
• 100% outpatient work (aside from call duties)
• Procedures performed include EMGs, Botox injections, and ONBs
• Opportunity to teach IU School of Medicine students

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
• Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
• Visa sponsorship available; H-1B or J-1

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries, and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center, and a cancer infusion center.

At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
