Nurse Manager (RN) - Operating Room

We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Manager (RN) to oversee the daily operations of the Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery, and Endoscopy departments. This role requires effective leadership to ensure the delivery of quality care, patient safety, and operational efficiency.

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Burlington, VT

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily operations within the Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery, and Endoscopy departments.
• Interpret and enforce policies, procedures, standards, and regulations in compliance with healthcare guidelines.
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers and surgeons to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Promote continuous improvement in quality and productivity, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Masters Degree preferred).
• Current RN licensure in the State of Vermont.
• At least five years of nursing experience in an Operating Room, including circulator and scrub roles.
• Minimum of two years of leadership experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

Certifications (desired):

• AORN Certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification.
• BLS certification is required.
